12 Rolls of FIlm – October 2012

I went on the Worldwide Photo Walk. I didn’t lead one this time really, I just had too many other things going on this year. Mark Swing, from The Hawaiian Islands Photographic Society, put it all together and when his photowalk filled up to its maximum number of people, I added on an overflow event. Overall it was a very casual, fun walk from the Zoo/Waikiki Shell to the International Marketplace. I haven’t been inside the International Market place since I was a kid and I don’t remember what the inside looked like.

I didn’t shoot the whole roll while I was on the photowalk, I hda about 10 shots left over. Later that day I went to another photoshoot where I had hoped to take some portraits. I brought my 85mm f1.8 to see what kind of bokeh film could produce. Alas, there was a back focus issue with my camera and lens and I’ve got some really sharp pictures of ears, but not so much the eyes. Oh well, time to find a new body perhaps?
